Hikal Takes a New Step Towards the Future

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): The 38th Annual General Meeting of Hikal Limited marked an important milestone for the company, with several significant decisions being taken. Shareholders approved the appointment of Mr. Sameer Hiremath as Chairman and Managing Director for a five-year term. His new tenure will run from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031. The approval received from a majority of shareholders reflects continuity in the company’s leadership.

Sameer Hiremath has been associated with Hikal’s Board of Directors since May 1999. Over nearly three decades of association with the company, Hikal has expanded its capabilities across pharmaceuticals, crop protection and other emerging life sciences sectors.
