Payal Ghosh remembers Air-India cabin crew Roshni Songhare who lost her life in Ahmedabad plane crash, reveals how she confessed about her about her acting ambitions in Marathi industry after calling Payal her inspiration for her South films!
The Ahmedabad plane crash involving an Air India flight with more than 200 people including passengers, cabin crews and pilots has broken the entire nation and how. The emotions are yet to sink in and people are yet to come to terms with the fact that so many people lost their lives in such a mishap. For actress Payal Ghosh who's known for her body of work in the South and Bollywood, this was more than just another news of plane crash.
Roshni Songhare, the 27-year-old crew who unfortunately lost her life in the crash had a meeting with Payal in-flight when the actress was flying to Dubai recently. In fact not just a meeting, the actress shares that she had a proper conversation of around 15 mins with Roshni where she witnessed a lot of spark and positivity in her eyes in terms of career ambition. On being asked more about what Roshni told Payal when they met on flight, she shares,
"I am deeply affected with the news of so many people losing their lives to an air tragedy. It breaks my heart. From old people to young kids, we lost so many lives. However, I am a bit personally affected hearing about Roshni Songhare. She was such a beautiful and positive girl. She was one of the crews in my flight to Dubai earlier and I was in awe of the way she expressed her admiration for my work. In fact, she even came and told me that she had seen my South movies and had liked my work there and she herself had acting ambitions in her life later on. I remember clearly that she told me that she wanted to do Marathi films and be an actor like me. There was so much energy and positivity in her eyes and the way she called me her inspiration while expressing her love for acting touched my heart and made it a special memory for me. I am extremely upset and sad with what happened and may Roshni's soul rest in peace and may her family get the strength and courage to bear with this horrendous loss. May God save us and protect us."
Here's hoping that all the departed souls who lost their lives rest in peace. Payal's memory of Roshni is certainly heartbreaking and we can definitely connect with the emotions. On the work front, the actress has some interesting work projects and the announcements will happen soon.
