Notebook’s “Together for Education” Series reaches 100 Episodes
Notebook, a mobile-first digital learning product that combines video and text content to deliver best-in-class is celebrating its 100th episode of its Together for Education webinar series. Since April 2020, Notebook has been conducting these biweekly webinar series were school principals, senior educationists and luminaries from all over the world collaborate, and ideas, experiences and learnings are shared and discussed.

The webinars have so far witnessed an attendance of over 75,000 participants from all over the country and also different parts of the world, attendees include principals, teachers, Parents, Child counsellors, Social workers and other eminent thought leaders.

The  webinars have seen panellists like Mr Philip Burrett, former Deputy Headmaster of The Doon School, Swami Supradiptananda of Ramakrishna Mission, Daryll Cullinan - former South African cricketer, Saptarshi Roy - ex-HR Director, NTPC, Jyoti - Indian National Women’s Team footballer, Rachana Kodesia, Head of Teachers Training at GD Goenka University, Padma Shree Ajeet Bajaj and several others. The panellists have presented their views on how managing crises is an integral part of a child’s education and how it has helped them navigate some of the toughest challenges in their lives.

Achin Bhattacharyya, Founder and CEO of Notebook addressed the gathering and said, “I have been privileged to have such a ringside view as Together for Education evolved from simply being a webinar organised by Notebook to something much bigger. Together for Education is the biggest thought sharing platform for school education anywhere on earth, and that has happened because all the esteemed educators who have joined hands with us have considered this event to be their own. During these trying times, it has been a fantastic journey for us, creating this community of educators who keep enriching us with their experience and expertise.”

Dr Biswajit Saha, Director, CBSE, delivering the keynote address at the webinar, complimented Notebook on this landmark achievement. Speaking about the resilience of India’s school education system during the pandemic, he said, “One way, of course, technology and your efforts as Notebook, as an organisation, the different organisational commitment, even from the side of the government…trying to cater the requirement…all these efforts are ongoing, but beyond that, certain other aspects we (also) need to think through.“

These Webinars take place twice a week (Wednesdays & Saturdays), on a variety of contemporary topics to help Students, Teachers and Parents navigate the rapidly evolving education system, during the COVID 19 crisis.
